Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare various surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, burning, sanding, sandblasting or other means as necessary.

Mix and match paints and finishes to desired color and texture.

Apply paints, stains, and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces utilizing brushes, spray guns, or rollers.

Adhere to all safety guidelines and practices including the handling of hazardous materials.

Coordinate with other team members on large projects to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

Examine and maintain painted exterior and interior painted surfaces, trimming and fixtures.

Prepare and clean up daily work areas on job sites as required.

Communicate with clients, co-workers, and supervisors effectively and professionally.

Follow through with customer satisfaction procedures and quality control measures.

Regularly attend team meetings to enhance collaboration and optimize work processes.

Requirements:

1+ years of experience as a commercial or industrial painter.

Proven knowledge of commercial and industrial painting techniques.

Excellent understanding of painting materials and how to select, mix, and apply them.

Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship.

Ability to operate various hand tools and equipment necessary for painting projects.

Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transport to access various job sites in the Columbus, OH area.

Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Commitment to safety practices and compliance with all regulatory standards.

High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in painting is preferred.
