Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and execute substructure works such as piling, pile caps, footings, rafts, retaining walls, and basement structures

Review and interpret approved IFC drawings, specifications, and method statements

Coordinate setting-out works with the survey team to ensure correct alignment and levels

Monitor excavation, shoring, dewatering, backfilling, and soil improvement activities

Ensure proper installation and inspection of reinforcement, formwork, and concrete works

Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors, foremen, and equipment operators

Ensure works comply with approved QA/QC plans and inspection test plans (ITPs)

Ensure compliance with HSE policies, risk assessments, and method statements

Prepare daily site reports, inspection requests, and work record

Required Skills and Competencies

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

At least 3–5 years of experience in substructure works in construction projects

Strong knowledge of piling systems, foundations, and excavation works

Familiar with construction standards, codes, and safety regulations

Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications

Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
