Description:
Summary of the Position: The Brewer I position serves as a core production role for brewing operations and is considered the apprentice level of the brewing trade. The Brewer I has a clear understanding of production flow and is responsible for all aspects of production from wort to bright beer and upholds the standards of quality set in place.

Brewer/Cellar
In addition to the responsibilities of the assistant brewer, the Brewer I accountabilities include:
Wort Production on both 90bbl and 30bbl brewhouses
Cellar procedures including tank additions and clarification prep
Centrifuge operation
Equipment CIPs (Brewhouses, FVs, BBTs, pumping equipment)
Facility Upkeep (keeping workstations and areas cleaned) Requirements:
1 to 2 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both
High School Diploma/GED.
Specialized education/certificate preferred.
