CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Technician in the Flowery Branch area. The ideal candidate has hands-on fabrication experience, can read drawings, works safely, and takes pride in producing clean, accurate work. The candidate is experienced in welding (MIG, TIG, and laser), sheet metal fabrication, CNC equipment operation, and fabrication drawing interpretation. This individual will work with advanced manufacturing equipment including a Haas CNC Mill, 6kW Gorilla Bescutter fiber laser and CNC Besbrake press brake, ensuring high-quality output, tight tolerances, and production efficiency.

DEPARTMENT ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Welding & Fabrication

Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel

Perform laser welding as required

Grind and polish welded components to a clean architectural finish

Fabricate frames, brackets, door components, and custom assemblies

Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards

CNC & Equipment Operation

Operate the 6kW Gorilla Bescutter fiber laser

Load and manipulate part programs

Load/unload sheet material

Operate CNC Besbrake press brake

Tool setup

Run programmed parts

Verify bend accuracy

Operate Haas CNC Mill

Load programs and set up fixtures

Perform machining operations on aluminum, stainless, and steel components

Verify part tolerances and dimensional accuracy

Inspect finished parts against drawings

Requirements

4+ years fabrication experience preferred

MIG and TIG welding experience required

Experience operating CNC laser, press brake, and mill preferred

Ability to read and interpret shop drawings

Forklift experience preferred

Strong attention to detail

Full-time
