Salary Range: $44,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machinery (mills, lathes, grinders) according to specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints, G-code, and technical drawings to determine machining operations.

Monitor machine operations, making adjustments to offsets and parameters to maintain quality and efficiency.

Perform in-process inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine alarms, malfunctions, or production issues.

Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal performance.

Document production activities, quality checks, and machine adjustments accurately.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code/M-code.

Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).

Solid understanding of machining principles, tooling, and material properties.

Strong shop math skills and commitment to quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

CAD/CAM software proficiency (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM)

Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators)

Basic machine troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills

Experience with 5-axis machining or multi-tasking machines
