Salary Range: $79,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic purchasing initiatives to support manufacturing operations.

Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers for raw materials, components, and MRO.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.

Manage inventory levels in collaboration with production to ensure material availability and minimize waste.

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity of supply for manufacturing.

Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team to optimize performance.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in purchasing processes and supplier performance.

Recommended Qualifications

5+ years of progressive experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven negotiation and vendor management skills with a track record of cost savings.

Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills focused on supply chain optimization and risk mitigation.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Experience with international sourcing and logistics management

Proficiency in advanced data analytics tools for spend analysis and market intelligence
