Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Develop innovative product designs and engineering solutions from concept to production.
Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, assemblies, and technical drawings.
Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback from cross-functional teams (e.g., manufacturing, quality, sales).
Generate Bills of Material (BOMs) and support documentation for new and existing products.
Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs.
Analyze and resolve design-related issues encountered during manufacturing and assembly.
Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field.
Proven proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA) for 3D modeling, assembly, and drafting.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication) and their impact on design.
Experience applying Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
Knowledge of material properties and selection for various manufacturing applications.
Bonus Qualifications
Proficiency with FEA/CFD software for advanced simulation and analysis.
Demonstrated experience with specific manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, CNC machining, additive manufacturing).
Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting physical designs.
Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
