Hiring: Structural Engineer

Location: Saint Paul, MN

Salary: $50,000-$75,000/yr

Schedule: Full-time On-site

CTR is searching for a Structural Engineer in Saint Paul to support building design and analysis projects across commercial and institutional structures. This role focuses on structural analysis, design coordination, construction documentation, and collaboration with architects, contractors, and internal engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design using steel, concrete, and timber

Develop construction documents, calculations, and specifications

Coordinate with architects, BIM teams, and contractors

Review shop drawings and construction submittals

Support construction teams with field issue resolution

Participate in quality reviews and interdisciplinary coordination

Mentor junior engineers and support project delivery

Qualifications & Requirements

Engineering degree or equivalent experience

Experience with structural analysis software (ETABS, RISA, RAM, SAP2000, etc.)

Knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC codes

Experience preparing structural drawings and calculations

Strong communication and coordination skills
