Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Controller to oversee accounting operations and financial reporting across a multi-location hospitality organization. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting, payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting while partnering closely with ownership to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping operations

Manage payroll processing and related tax filings

Prepare financial statements, P&L reports, and reconciliations

Maintain POS reporting, deposits, and bank reconciliations

Prepare and submit required tax documentation (1094, 1095, 1099)

Coordinate with external accountants and advisors

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Identify process improvements and implement accounting best practices

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required

5+ years of Controller or senior accounting experience

Strong QuickBooks Online experience

Payroll and tax reporting knowledge

Experience with POS systems and multi-entity accounting

High level of discretion and attention to detail
