As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Shift Process Technician to join our Research Manufacturing Team.

You will be responsible for providing support to the Croda Alabaster Research Manufacturing team by performing processing and purification on a wide range of compounds.

What You'll Be Doing: Be part of a team that values diversity, sustainability, and continuous innovation, where your ideas and contributions matter.

* Perform chromatographic purification * Perform solvent removal by rotary evaporations.

* Perform product synthesis and natural extractions.

* Follow product specific procedures and fully document work.

* Document procedures in an electronic notebook.

* Perform precipitations, filtrations, and partitions.

* Perform freeze drying and vacuum drying.

* Perform packing and tearing down of chromatography columns.

* Cleans glassware and maintains equipment used in the laboratory.

* Empty trash in production areas and production support areas * Perform facility cleaning * Sanitation of glassware, equipment, and fume hoods * Install and replace compressed gas cylinders.

* Perform label printing and verification.

* Perform upkeep of employee training records * Report and address any problems in daily manufacturing.

* Transfer hazardous or non-hazardous waste materials to collection areas for disposal or recycling.

* Prepare and align individual performance goals with department goals.

* Complete company-required training programs * Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance as outlined in the company's Standard Operating Procedures, Chemical Hygiene Plan, Emergency Contingency Plan, training memoranda, policy memoranda, Safety Data Sheets, Specification Records, etc.

* High school diploma or equivalent unless previous employment experience indicates aptitude.

Associate degree or bachelor's in chemistry, chemical engineering, biology or related field preferred.

* To understand the importance of following safety procedures and the correct use of PPE.

* At least one year of experience as a Research Assistant I or equivalent experience.

* Must have oral & written proficiency in the English language.

* Proficiency in MS Office.

* Attention to detail, math skills, computer skills, work standards, teamwork.

* Basic equipment troubleshooting.

* Ability to stand, walk, or sit for a minimum of 8 hours a day.

* Ability to lift 50 pounds.
