Project Engineer (Finishing & QA/QC)

Job Summary: - The Project Engineer (Finishing & QA/QC) is responsible for the implementation of Quality Control Program for civil/structural and architectural works to ensure conformance with plans & specifications. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Cost - Estimate, monitor & control architectural works (material, labor, equipment, & subcon) 2. Production

Coordinate with the Cost & Schedule Engineer for the preparation of the baseline cost & schedule.

Prepare and submit request for materials, labor, equipment, & subcon.

Monitor and supervise finishing & architectural works.

Submit weekly finishing & architectural accomplishment.

Coordinate architectural changes with Design Department.

Recommend effective engineering solutions to field problems. 3. Production

Review construction plans & specifications for basic compliance with the prevailing Code and Standards of Practice.

Coordinate architectural changes with CAD Operator for the as-built plans.

Conduct QC inspection and testing for finishing & architectural works.

Turnover finishing & architectural works in accordance to plans & specifications.

Issue Certificate of Completion and Final Acceptance of contractors.

Responsible for the evaluation of Contractor's Performance Report. 4. Safety - Assist in overseeing health & safety standards on site. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or any related field.

Possession of relevant professional certifications or licenses (i.e., Registered Civil Engineer, Registered Architect, etc.)

Has a minimum of 3 years experience in construction industry, preferably with exposure to quality assurance and quality control.

Has an in-depth knowledge of project scheduling and construction project management.

Proficiency in AutoCad, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and other engineering software tools.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in project management, scheduling, and budgeting.
