Job Description

Machine Operator – $20 an hour

Location: Bettendorf, Iowa

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Alternating Schedule: 2 day on, 2 day off. 3 days on, 2 days off (15 working days per month)Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Operator to join our Day Shift (B). In this role, you will ensure efficient machine operation, maintain quality standards, and support a smooth production flow. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities

• Minimize scrap on assigned machines and verify correct color concentration

• Prepare for and monitor product changeovers, including ensuring line clearances

• Compare machine cycle times to production standards

• Support packers by packing bottles during breaks and lunches

• Verify proper operation of all downstream equipment

• Ensure quality bottle production during machine restarts

• Perform daily and weekly preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment

• Troubleshoot machinery and perform minor repairs

• Complete required machine and production line reports

• Identify and respond to machine sounds, alarms, and alerts

• Assist the material operator as neededEssential Skills

• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bettendorf, IA.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
