Portfolio Leasing Manager
Pay: $55,000.00 – $63,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
Schedule: Must be available Saturdays (Sunday & Monday off)
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Leasing Manager to support a portfolio of high end residential properties in the Downtown/Short North area. This role is responsible for driving leasing performance, delivering an exceptional client experience, and supporting consistent occupancy across multiple assets. This is a salaried position (no commissions) and is ideal for someone seeking a long term career in leasing and property operations.
Duties
Conduct apartment tours and professionally present apartment features, amenities, and neighborhood highlights
Maintain in depth knowledge of assigned buildings, floor plans, pricing, policies, and local market conditions
Track competitive inventory, rental trends, and market positioning to support pricing and leasing strategy
Prepare lease documentation and coordinate execution in accordance with internal procedures
Guide prospective residents through the leasing cycle from inquiry to application approval
Collect, review, and process applicant documentation accurately and in compliance with standards and regulations
Execute marketing and outreach initiatives to maximize lead flow and achieve occupancy goals
Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for prospects and residents regarding availability, pricing, and property policies
Experience & Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of residential leasing experience
Proven background in property management or real estate administrative roles
Experience working with higher end or urban apartment communities preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Must be available to work Saturdays
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM/property management systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast paced environment
Strong client service orientation with a results driven mindset
