Designer Engineer Service

Vulcain Engineering Belgium is looking for a E&I Engineer/Designer to join its team.

The E&I Engineer works on industrial projects during basic engineering, detailed engineering, and execution phases (EPC / EPCC). They are responsible for the design, sizing, and production of electrical and instrumentation deliverables, in coordination with process, mechanical, civil engineering, and automation teams.

The role covers projects in the energy, oil & gas, water, industrial infrastructure, treatment plants, and surface facilities sectors, with a strong focus on engineering quality, compliance with standards, and 3D/BIM integration.

Electrical Engineering Perform detailed engineering for LV/MV/HV electrical installations.

Single-line diagrams / Distribution and protection diagrams / Wiring, interconnection, and terminal block diagrams / Lighting, earthing, and lightning protection studies / Layouts and installation details Model electrical installations in a 3D environment (Revit / PDMS). Instrumentation Engineering Perform full engineering of instrumentation systems.

Produce deliverables such as: Instrument datasheets / Instrument Index / I/O List / Loop Diagrams / Hook-up Drawings / Instrument Interconnection Diagrams / Junction Box Wiring Diagrams / Cable Schedule / P&IDs in coordination with the process team Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, ISA, ISO, API, EN, ANSI). Guarantee quality, consistency, and traceability of technical documentation.

Engineering degree in electrical, instrumentation, or automation.

~3 to 6 years of specific experience in E&I engineering.

~ Strong understanding of P&IDs and industrial processes.

~ Mastery of detailed E&I engineering.
