Operations Analyst (Second Shift)

Job Description

ComResource is looking for an Operations Analyst (2nd shift).

We need someone to assist in monitoring infrastructure systems, managing incidents, and supporting change-management processes across data center environments.

Responsibilities:

Monitor events, batch schedules, and infrastructure alerts across mainframe and distributed systems

Perform initial response to failures and escalate issues appropriately

Create incident and change documentation and update stakeholders

Coordinate with internal teams, system administrators, vendors, and user groups

Support implementation and operations of core infrastructure services (storage, network, database, hardware, enterprise systems)

Maintain knowledge base documentation and operational guidelines

Test customer-facing products to ensure required functionality

Provide detailed turnover updates to the next shift

Essentials:

Some college or equivalent experience

1–2 years of IT experience

Willingness to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to follow guidelines and procedures

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
