SAP BASIS Engineer (011285)

Design, develop, implement SAP BASIS functions on SAP BASIS Managed Services to create productive and non-productive systems to support SAP landscapes for clients. Design, implement and configure EPI-USE Labs Data Sync Manager (DSM) product suite onto client’s systems based on each client’s individual landscape. Analyze and work with clients to establish requirements and develop proactive solutions. Ensure seamless operation of SAP BASIS solutions defining standards and requirements, evaluating and driving enhancements and implementing solutions for performance monitoring, system configuration, and overall design and deployment. Maintain data management of client information ensuring seamless integration and communication layer between SAP components and applications focusing on interface design and optimization. Conduct system and enterprise carve outs, time slices, refreshes, and production exports to meet client demands. Design and develop new systems including development, training, test, and pre-production systems for clients using DSM product suite and reduce footprint of new systems, copy selected data on demand and test and upgrade systems ensuring integrated protection of data for increased security. Conduct performance tests and changes ensuring minimal end-user and back-end processing performance degradation and downtime of system. Analyze and resolve issues in client SAP systems and database ensuring system stability and performance. Track project progress to ensure implementation blueprints and upgrades align with budget, deadlines and client specifications while adhering to development standards. Work with Managed Services team to provide SAP BASIS support to clients.

Requires three years of experience as a SAP BASIS Administrator or related role designing and implementing SAP BASIS functions on SAP BASIS Managed Services; implementing SAP systems and upgrades and migrate SAP systems such as ECC, BW, CRM, APO, PI, Portal and Solution Manager to and from operating systems and databases supported by SAP; troubleshooting SAP landscapes and applying patches to client’s databases using Oracle, Sybase, SQL, HANA and DB2.
