Payroll Manager

An organization is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee the full payroll process while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient payroll operations.

Responsibilities Include:

Manage payroll processing for salaried, hourly, and grant-funded employees

Review and approve payroll registers, wage payments, and tax filings

Manage payroll calendars and year-end reporting including W-2s and 1099s

Maintain payroll systems and confidential employee records

Collaborate with HR on onboarding, offboarding, and employee status changes

Reconcile payroll accounts and support general ledger postings

Assist with audits, compliance updates, and payroll system improvements

Ideal Qualifications:

Strong payroll management experience

Knowledge of payroll tax filings and compliance requirements

Experience working with payroll systems and reporting tools

Highly detail-oriented and organized

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Salary: $85k - $105k/Year
