Job Description JOB TITLE: Manager, Program Management DIRECT REPORTS: Program Managers, Program Administrators DEPARTMENT: Program Management REPORTING TO: General Manager PRIMARY FUNCTION OF POSITION:Libra Industries is seeking a Manager of Program Management to lead our Dallas-based Program Management team and drive execution excellence across our customer portfolio.
This role is responsible for ensuring successful delivery of customer programs—from quote through production—by leading a team of Program Managers and Program Administrators, strengthening cross-functional alignment, and ensuring customer commitments are met or exceeded.
This is a high-visibility leadership role based onsite at our Dallas (Richardson), Texas facility, partnering closely with the General Manager and site leadership to support operational performance, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Customer Program LeadershipLead execution of customer programs to achieve on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and financial performance goalsProvide oversight and guidance on program timelines, risks, and recovery plansEnsure proactive and consistent communication with customers and internal stakeholdersPartner with Sales to support customer growth, retention, and new business opportunities Financial & Business PerformanceDrive program performance aligned with gross margin, cost improvement, and operational objectivesOversee quotation responsiveness, accuracy, and competitivenessManage program forecasts to support production planning, capacity, and inventory managementDevelop and execute annual departmental goals aligned with site and corporate strategy Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop a team of Program Managers and Program AdministratorsEstablish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standardsSupport talent development, succession planning, and capability building within the teamFoster a culture aligned with Libra’s Built to Deliver commitment Cross-Functional LeadershipPartner closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and SalesDrive alignment and prioritization to ensure successful execution of customer commitmentsLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program execution, communication, and responsivenessSupport implementation and effective use of ERP and program management tools EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:5–10+ years of experience in:Program ManagementAccount ManagementCustomer Program LeadershipManufacturing environment (EMS, aerospace, precision machining, or similar preferred)Prior leadership experience managing or mentoring program or customer-facing teamsStrong business acumen and ability to manage program financial performanceExcellent communication and customer relationship skillsAbility to lead in a fast-paced, operational manufacturing environmentAssociate’s degree or equivalent experience SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:Bachelor’s degreeExperience with ERP systems (Macola or similar)Experience supporting complex manufacturing programsProgram Management certification (PgMP or PMP) WORK ENVIRONMENT:This is an onsite leadership role based in Dallas (Richardson), TexasHybrid office and manufacturing floor environmentRegular presence on the shop floor supporting operational executionSome travel may be required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:• While performing duties of this job, the employee must have good hearing and vision.• Ability to walk the shop floor and lift up to 20 pounds.
