Field Performance Advisor (FPA)
The Field Performance Advisor (FPA) plays a critical role in driving supplier performance, improving construction quality, and ensuring operational consistency across markets. This role involves frequent site visits, performance analysis, and hands?on collaboration with suppliers to correct real?time issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier Performance & Site Oversight
Review and analyze site performance metrics, including cycle time, COP (Close?Out Package) quality, JHA (Job Hazard Assessment) compliance, tool usage, build quality, and customer?specific requirements.
Identify performance gaps and partner with suppliers to develop corrective actions and improvements.
Conduct on?site root?cause analysis for performance deficiencies and troubleshoot real?time safety or construction issues.
Plan and prioritize daily/weekly supplier visits based on KPIs, performance trends, and market needs. Cross?Functional Coordination
Collaborate with construction managers and project management teams to review market requests such as site access, customer meeting support, and construction drawing validation.
Work with automation and operational excellence teams to suggest enhancements to tools, workflows, and processes.
Share field insights with other FPAs nationwide to identify cross?market issues and recommend system?wide improvements. Process Improvement & Reporting
Design and recommend improvements to supplier construction processes and tool utilization.
Collect and report supplier performance data to support new process trials or workflow changes.
Participate in supplier Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), presenting field findings and recommended improvements.
Ensure suppliers clearly understand and adhere to required construction standards, processes, and tools.
Provide ongoing feedback on training materials and documentation to improve clarity and performance accuracy. Behavioral Competencies

7+ years of relevant industry experience required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Strong understanding of general construction processes, methods, and procedures.
Experience managing or directing general contractor suppliers, including scope estimation (Civil, Ground, L&A, Backhaul, Maintenance Work).
Ability to interpret and enforce construction and quality standards.
Strong knowledge of contracts (vendor-facing, customer-facing, leasing) and solid financial acumen.
Proven ability to build strong supplier relationships and influence external partners.
Experience providing design guidance and understanding order of operations.
Familiarity with applicable health and safety regulations.
OSHA 30?hour Telecommunications Certification required.
Prior experience with relevant telecom equipment portfolios is a plus, but not required.
