What You Will Do:
Perform obsolescence health reviews for electronics and/or mechanical components
Support generation and approvals of SAP MPN activity for approved suppliers for components
Work with component engineering team and cross functional team to resolve supplier requests for information
Support engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and other groups
Perform Failure and Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions
Consult with design engineering on part selection, qualification of components, performing root cause investigation and corrective action implementation
Address part shortages and obsolescence, and technology roadmap management
What You Will Bring:
Bachelor’s degree Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics or relevant experience
Effective communication and presentation skills in English (verbal and written)
Experience in Manufacturing, Quality, and/or Electrical Design
Familiarity with design and producibility of electronic components
Aerospace Design and Producibility Process experience is a plus
Geometry, Dimensioning, and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Knowledge of SAP and Teamcenter
Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements: We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position is located in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and is considered hybrid with 3 days required on-site.
You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Travel Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.
Citizenship Requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
