JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Epic Systems Analyst specializing in the Resolute Professional Billing and Claims application. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting the Epic software to ensure streamlined billing processes and effective claims management. You will engage with system users to identify issues and implement practical solutions that enhance user satisfaction and efficiency.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, design, build, test, implement, and support Epic software solutions tailored to user needs.

Analyze and define system requirements and specifications. Document workflow analysis and evaluate user experiences. Maintain and support applications with in-depth domain knowledge. Create and manage documentation and training materials for applications.

Utilize your Epic knowledge to configure changes that promote standardized workflows. Address issues, conduct routine maintenance, and update systems with new functionalities. Guide and support end-users in maximizing their use of the Epic application.

Independently manage and contribute to small to medium-sized projects. Keep stakeholders updated on the progress of tasks, projects, and issues in a timely manner.

Conduct problem-solving and root cause analysis for routine to moderately complex issues. Identify solutions and ensure comprehensive documentation is completed.

EXPERIENCE

Required

3 years of systems administration experience in one or more Epic modules.

Preferred

3+ years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience (Claims, Patient Access, Billing).

3+ years of experience with Epic EMR or similar EMR applications.

3 years of experience in the healthcare industry.

SKILLS

Ability to manage analysis, design, system configuration, and testing tasks at various complexity levels.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Strong critical thinking skills for assigned tasks.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to establish collaborative working relationships.

Strong organizational skills to effectively manage priorities.

Demonstrated understanding of project management principles in relation to your tasks.

EDUCATION

Required

Associate's degree.

Substitutions

2 years of relevant work experience may substitute for an Associate's degree.

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, or relevant field.

LICENSES or CERTIFICATIONS

Required

Epic Application Certification within 6 months of hire.

Preferred

Epic Certification in Resolute Professional Billing and/or Professional Claims.

Pay Range Minimum: $57,700.00

Pay Range Maximum: $107,800.00

Base pay is determined by qualifications, experience, contributions, and market considerations.
