They pride themselves on simplifying complex legal issues, offering compassionate guidance, and fostering long-term relationships (rather than one-off transactions). Their practice areas include estate planning, elder law, probate & trust administration, conservatorship, and related matters.

We are seeking a strong litigation associate with several years of experience to support the firm's disputes, fiduciary, and probate-driven litigation work. While probate litigation experience is a plus, candidates with solid civil litigation backgrounds will also be considered. The ideal attorney is smart, fast-paced, and above all, operates with the highest levels of integrity.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Manage and litigate probate, trust, fiduciary, and estate-related disputes

Handle civil litigation matters (complaints, motions, discovery, depositions, hearings)

Draft and argue dispositive motions, pleadings, and substantive briefs

Work with clients, fiduciaries, trustees, and opposing counsel in contested matters

Conduct legal research and analysis on probate, trusts, estates, and related issues

Collaborate with senior partners and staff to strategize case approaches

Maintain timely communication with clients, courts, and stakeholders

Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards in all matters

Qualifications

J.D. from accredited law school

Admission to the California Bar (or willing to become admitted)

Several years (e.g. 3-7) of litigation experience

Preferably some exposure or experience in probate, trust, or estate litigation

Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills

Ability to think quickly, manage multiple matters, and work under deadlines

Excellent integrity, ethics, and client-focused mindset

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
