Parc is looking for a motivated, hardworking, and passionate Server Assistant with incredibly high standards to join the Elia Group team. You will be responsible for food service of all tables and seating areas in a high-volume restaurant, bar or lounge. The Food Runner/Server Assistant assists the kitchen and Servers with food service, proper set-up and maintenance of functioning spaces, as well as serving guests and keeping the side stations clean and well stocked. The Food Runner/Server Assistant will assist management with the training/mentoring of new employees as requested and works in an efficient and professional manner while maintaining a positive attitude and always delivering superior guest service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\tThis position will cross train as a Barback, Food runner, and Polisher

\tProvide a friendly, inviting and personal environment for guests

\tAnticipate guest needs and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner

\tAdhere to all standard operating procedures and sequence of service standards

\tMaintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout shift

\tRespond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitude

\tKeep tabletops, floors and service areas clean/free of dirty glasses, dirty ashtrays, trash and any unnecessary items throughout shift

\tKeep service station and service equipment storage clean and organized

\tSafely transport service trays from table areas to back of house or service station

\tClean all spills and waste immediately, Sweep and mop as needed and Polish and wash glassware throughout shift

\tResponsible for making sure your area is always prepped accordingly with supplies and that it is kept clean to run as efficiently as possible

\tClear tables of debris and any spillage throughout the shift

\tAdhere to all specified marketing requirements and guidelines (guest list, reservations, social media, etc.)

\tRecord and report any equipment failure and/or safety hazards to a manager immediately

\tPerforms other job-related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

\tHigh school diploma or equivalent.

\tValid drivers license and proven ability to safely operate light vehicles, such as golf carts.

\tPrevious experience in a similar role in a hospitality or event setting preferred.

\tStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.

\tAbility to perform physical activities, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and standing for long periods.

\tWillingness to work in various outdoor weather conditions.

\tExcellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously.

\tTeam player with good communication skills.

\tStamina and Endurance: Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods during shifts, often in fast-paced or busy environments.

\tStrength: Capability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as luggage, equipment, or cleaning supplies, typically weighing up to 50 pounds or more.

\tManual Dexterity: Skill in handling a variety of tasks, such as cleaning, carrying items, or assisting guests with luggage.

\tMobility: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and reach in order to perform various tasks throughout the facility.

\tCoordination: Good hand-eye coordination for handling equipment and performing duties like cleaning, moving items, or organizing spaces.

\tTolerating Heat and Cold: Comfort working in various environments, including outdoor or non-climate-controlled areas, especially when moving between buildings or loading/unloading items.

\tVisual and Hearing Acuity: Necessary for observing surroundings, assisting guests, and communicating with staff and visitors.
