**What awaits you:**
* Responsible for the selection of the suppliers for prototypes and production parts - aligned with GSC strategy and Program team requirements for the headquarter
* Initiates the RFQ's and negotiates and executes all contracts on the specific programs.
* Responsible for the program from Quotation through lifecycle of that program (except Resins)
* Responsible to utilize the tools to assist in should cost analysis for the components related to the specific program
* Responsible to plan and execute the information and purchase orders to support the production ramp up with the suppliers (incl. initial Sampling; prototypes; and preproduction parts)
* Responsible to ensure that that the required timely Q – documents are received from the supplier
* Coordinates the tracking and analyses cost changes on the respective programs
* Initiates the process of in time-planning of the service- and spare part supply (incl. packaging) and involves respective subject matter experts into this process
* Responsible to ensure the purchased components are integrated into the logistic concept (packaging, transport method etc.) and involving the materials and logistics analyst in this process
* Verifies capacities and acquires cost regarding carry-over parts (incl. expanded tooling capacity for the additional quantities)
* Cares for key supplier integration into program team
* Reports the program characteristics to her/his supervisor and informs the team about important program issues
**Qualifications**
**What you’ll need to succeed:**
* Degree in Business Administration or comparable commercial education is necessary
* Bachelor of Purchasing/Materials logistics is desirable
* Commercial working experience is required
* Business Experience in the Automotive Industry will be preferred
* Knowledge in Value-, Design- and Price Analysis
* Ideally Software Skills in Excel, ERP Systems - SAP, E-Matrix; Sharepoint, etc.
* English language skills are required
