To execute our strategy, we are looking to strengthen our operations organization with a Production Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

The Production Supervisor will report to the Plant Manager in the Byromville, GA location.

In this role, you will:

Overseeing the production process

Managing staff

Ensuring quality control

Ensure that labor efficiency standards are achieved

Meet and/or exceed metrics related to on-time-delivery, scrap, productivity, PPM etc.

Ensure that employees are properly trained on job procedures, safety procedures/standards, production methods and quality standards

Ensure that employees understand and accept business priorities and maximize employee involvement in production improvement

Maintaining compliance with safety regulations

Meeting production targets

Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels; verify the implementation of solutions

Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process and quality system

All other duties and projects as assigned

Education & Experience

High School diploma required, college degree in a business-related field desired

5 years' experience in a similar position.

Experience in the wire harness fabrication process, preferred.

Experience within the manufacturing industry, preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Analyze information quickly and work as part of a team.

Be transparent and comfortable with being held accountable.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong research and analytical skills.

Communication skills with customers, managers and high level executive.

Communication skills with operations staff

Negotiation, leadership and teamwork skills.

Physical demands and work environment:

Frequent (3-6 hours daily):

Remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) while operating a computer

Operate a computer and other office productivity equipment (e.g., calculator, copy machine, printer); tolerate repetitive movements

Hear and communicate effectively in person and on the phone

Work in general office conditions

Occasional (up to 3 hours daily):

Move about the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.

Push, pull, lift, or carry items up to 50 pounds

Observe details at close range

Maintain files in file cabinets

Be exposed to loud noises

Constant (6-8+ hours daily):

Communicate information and ideas clearly and accurately

Read and comprehend written materials

Never (0 hours daily):

Ascend/descend ladders (e.g., to service lights or ceiling fans)

Work in confined areas

Travel to other work sites
