Responsibilitiesarrow_right * Supervise daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
* Lead, coach, and develop production team members to support performance, accountability, and a strong continuous improvement culture.
* Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards (IATF 16949), safety requirements, and company manufacturing procedures.
* Monitor production KPIs, scrap levels, and downtime while implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and product quality.
* Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workflow to meet customer demand and production deadlines for rubber/plastic components.
* Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues and drive Lean manufacturing initiatives.
Qualificationsarrow_right * High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or manufacturing certifications preferred.
* 3+ years of supervisory or lead experience in an automotive, rubber, plastics, or related manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of automotive quality standards, safety practices, and continuous improvement principles (Lean, 5S, etc.). * Ability to lead teams, manage production schedules, and effectively communicate across shifts and departments.
* Proficiency with basic computer systems (production reporting, ERP/MES systems, Microsoft Office) and production KPI tracking.
