Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, SLPA (School Based)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Help implement speech and language treatment plans designed by an SLP.

Provide direct therapy services to students.

Assist in screening students' communication skills.

Document and report on students' progress and therapy sessions.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.

Participate in team meetings and provide input on student progress and needs.

Requirements:

An SLPA with a valid state license to practice.

Previous experience working in schools is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Adept at working independently and as part of a team.

Enthusiastic about helping kids reach their full potential.
