Internship Program Highlights:
The Evaluation Systems group is on the lookout for an AI Scientist Intern to assist with human and automated scoring projects during the summer. This role offers excellent exposure to large-scale operational scoring while playing a vital role in enhancing educational assessments.
Key projects you may work on include:
Production software development for our hand-scoring platform (OSCAR)
Development of automated scoring platforms
Design and analysis of hand-scoring activities, including AI generation of range finding samples
Design, modeling, and analysis of AI initiatives linked to automated scoring, including gaming detection and training mechanisms
This position is fully remote, with occasional travel to company offices or partner sites as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Pursuing or recently earned a degree in Educational Measurement, Psychometrics, Statistics, Computational Linguistics, Machine Learning/AI, or Computer Science.
Strong analytical and research skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Python programming.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
