Our Enterprise Mobile app team is on the lookout for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and results-driven Senior Mobile Developer/Tech Lead to drive our Invest and Maintenance projects. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate across all business lines to integrate their functionalities into our mobile app.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring you to work in the office (Columbus, OH, Chicago, IL, Hartford, CT, or Charlotte, NC) 3 days a week, specifically from Tuesday through Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert technical leadership to Scrum Teams, ensuring a robust application architecture.

Implement the broader technical vision while considering cross-functional impacts and organizational integration.

Be the subject matter expert and advocate for our mobile app and its architecture.

Oversee mobile app delivery and its backend infrastructure throughout the software development life cycle.

Ensure application testing meets quality assurance metrics.

Proactively address technical issues and risks.

Design and document automation solutions aligning with business requirements.

Mentor and train project team members, promoting development guidelines and best practices.

Influence business, IT, and Sourcing partners effectively.

Identify opportunities to minimize total cost of ownership in application support.

Support disaster recovery and reverse demand planning and testing initiatives.

Qualifications:

Authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. Note that the company will not provide support for the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position.

7+ years of programming/systems analysis experience and industry-specific business knowledge.

Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Hands-on experience in hybrid mobile app development using Capacitor and/or Cordova.

Proficiency with Front-End Application Development platforms such as Angular, Ionic, and Typescript.

Experience in UX design and A11Y is a plus.

Familiarity with CI/CD methods, particularly GitHub Actions.

Experience with AWS lambda functions and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) services like CloudFormation or Terraform.

Solid understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing practices for Mobile applications.

Knowledge of security models including OIDC, OAuth token security, and Identity and Access Management products like ForgeRock.

Strong grasp of Scrum Agile project management methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

Compensation:

The annualized base pay range for this role is $114,720 - $172,080. This range is based on an analysis of similar positions in the market. Actual pay may vary based on factors like performance and demonstration of competencies required for the role. Base pay is just one part of The Hartford's comprehensive compensation package, which may also include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and recognition for outstanding contributions.
