Your Key Responsibilities:
Utilize T-SQL performance tuning to resolve daily production challenges.
Conduct configuration, scripting, installation, monitoring, upgrades, and administration for database management systems.
Ensure service level agreements are consistently met for both internal and external clients.
Be part of our off-hour production support and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Establish, document, and uphold database policies, procedures, and standards.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams.
Manage essential database tasks including backups, point-in-time restores, and maintenance plans for critical applications.
Support key activities within the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Implement security best practices to safeguard data integrity.
Undertake additional related tasks as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or associate degree with three years of database administration experience, or five years of relevant experience without a degree.
Familiarity with the Cognizant/TriZetto Facets data model or application is a plus.
Proficient in creating T-SQL scripts.
Highly organized, responsible, and possess an analytical mindset.
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience with complex SQL databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Familiarity with SQL replication and high-availability architectures.
Knowledge of programming languages is a bonus.
Health care experience is advantageous.
Eagerness to learn new platforms, including Job Schedulers and Open-Source Databases.
Experience with Azure is beneficial but not required.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm CST.
Compensation: $120,000 annually plus potential performance-based bonuses. This is a full-time position.
