The Developer Experience (DevX) organization is dedicated to enabling our engineers to develop, build, test, and deploy high-quality code efficiently and reliably. We achieve this by creating products and systems tailored to meet the needs of Coinbase engineers.

As an integral part of the Mobile DevX team, you will influence the future of mobile development at Coinbase. Utilizing React Native and Expo, you will craft innovative tools designed to elevate the developer's experience and facilitate smooth app releases. This role presents a unique opportunity to impact the mobile ecosystem at a leading fintech company, collaborating with exceptional engineers on projects that will reach millions of users. Responsibilities include:

Developing and maintaining mobile infrastructure with React Native, as well as iOS and Android technologies.

Creating and enhancing developer tools to streamline the mobile development workflow.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to introduce new features and boost app performance.

Implementing automation for app releases to ensure seamless Over-The-Air (OTA) updates.

Engaging in code reviews and providing mentorship to cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Keeping abreast of the latest mobile development trends and technologies to drive innovation in the team.

Ideal candidates will have:

Expertise in React Native or substantial iOS/Android development experience, with a willingness to learn React Native.

Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript as our tools are developed in these languages.

A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to enhancing developer experiences.

Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred qualifications include:

A proven track record of contributing to high-quality, scalable mobile applications.

Experience with mobile infrastructure and developer tooling.

Familiarity with Swift or Kotlin.

Knowledge of cross-platform development practices.

Previous experience at a fintech or tech company recognized for mobile innovation.

Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):

$186,065-$218,900 USD
