Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a proactive and skilled RPG Developer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and enhancing our client's applications while effectively troubleshooting production issues.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance existing applications to ensure optimal performance.
Engage with the user community to gather and analyze business requirements.
Develop, troubleshoot, and enhance production applications using RPG technologies.
Qualifications
Required:
A minimum of 5 years of experience with RPG ILE, RPG SQL, and CL programming.
Proficient in reading and programming in Free Form RPG IV and traditional RPG IV.
Over 5 years of experience in RPG SQL programming, and creating SQL tables and queries on IBMi.
Strong understanding of Distributed Data Management (DDM) programming techniques.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred:
Experience with IBMi Navigator for database analysis.
Familiarity with MKS Implementer is a plus.
Physical Demands
Ability to perform essential job functions in line with ADA and other applicable regulations.
Sedentary work that involves staying stationary for most of the time, with occasional movement for meetings.
Capable of conducting repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
Salary and Benefits
The compensation for this position ranges from $68,000 to $70,000 annually. Exact compensation may differ based on factors such as location, experience, and education.
