As a software engineer, you’ll play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative technology solutions that translate complex requirements into reliable, high impact systems.

Key Responsibilities

Code, test, debug, implement, and maintain software solutions while following work instructions and receiving guidance from a manager or senior engineer.

Provide technical support within assigned projects, resolving basic issues, and contributing to project delivery.

Create program logic for new applications or modify existing logic, learning progressively from more experienced colleagues as task complexity grows.

Adapt and improve existing software products, add features, increase performance, ensuring cross platform compatibility, and implementing basic system efficiency improvements with supervision.

Required Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Minimum 1 year of hands on experience in software development or a related technical role.

Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as C, C++, C#, .NET, Java, or Perl.

Working knowledge of at least one operating system, including Windows or Linux/Unix.

This position will be located in Umeå, Sweden and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office.
