Mainframe Transition Program Manager

As a valued member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in guiding our clients through the transition of their Mainframe services to Ensono's expert support.

As the Transition Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison between our clients and Ensono's IT team, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence. Your leadership will be instrumental in aligning our resources with the client's IT staff to facilitate a smooth transition.

Key Responsibilities:

Deeply understand various functional areas to engage appropriate resources for successful migrations.

Conduct large-scale meetings for technical teams to share information and develop solutions.

Identify and address discrepancies during the migration, engaging clients when necessary to achieve resolutions.

Report project status to the Project Manager, ensuring all timelines are met for Mainframe systems support.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a z/OS environment.

Familiarity with mainframe functional areas including z/OS, storage systems, databases, CICS, and disaster recovery concepts.

Proficient in leading meetings and conference calls with diverse stakeholders.

Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint for documentation and collaboration.

Preferred Skills:

Ability to create technical documentation and lead insightful technical discussions.

Act as a representative of Ensono to clients, ensuring professional engagement.

Coordinate hardware installations effectively with vendors.

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 to $140,000 annually, which may vary based on individual skills and experience. In addition to your base salary, you may also be eligible for bonuses and equity grants.
