Job Title: Working Concrete Foreman
Location: Gilbert / Mesa, AZ
Position Type: Full-Time / Field Leadership
The Role
As a Working Foreman at Botta’s, you are the backbone of the job site. You’ll be responsible for leading a crew of 3–6 people to ensure every pour is on time, on grade, and up to our standards. This isn't an "office-in-the-truck" job—you’ll be expected to lead by example, working alongside your team while managing the bigger picture.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the Charge: Direct and motivate crew members in daily tasks including forming, rebar installation, pouring, and finishing.
• Hands-on Work: Expertly handle tools (screeds, floats, trowels) and operate equipment (skid steers, excavators) as needed.
• Plan & Prep: Read blueprints, set forms to correct elevations, and coordinate material deliveries (concrete, gravel, etc.).
• Safety First: Enforce OSHA standards and ensure the team is working safely every single day.
• Quality Control: Inspect work during and after the pour to ensure it meets project specs and our reputation for excellence.
• Reporting: Track daily hours, material usage, and project progress to keep the office in the loop.
What You Need
• Experience: At least 5+ years in concrete construction with 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Technical Skill: Proficient in layout, formwork, and all aspects of concrete finishing (flatwork, curbs, etc.).
• Physical Grit: Ability to lift 75+ lbs, work on your feet for 8–10 hours, and handle the Arizona heat.
• Valid Driver’s License: A clean MVR is required; CDL is a major plus.
• Communication: Ability to give clear directions and maintain professional relationships with clients and inspectors.
