Job Duties
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities (meal prep, hygiene, medication reminders).
- Encourage independence and skill-building activities.
- Facilitate recreational and community outings.
- Provide a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
- Occasional van transport of residents to appointments or activities.
- Document daily activities and report any concerns to management.
Education
High school diploma or GED.
Experience & Skills Required
Requirements:
- Valid NYS driver's license required (occasional van transport may be needed).
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to caregiving.
- Ability to lift or support individuals when necessary.
- Prior experience in caregiving or developmental disabilities support is a plus.
