Summary:
Jorgensen Farms is made up of multiple divisions, creating a unique agritourism environment that blends organic farming with special events. This position is a dual role with primary responsibilities as a Catering Bartender with the flexibility to fill Catering Server shifts when there is a need. This position is responsible for providing exceptional service to all Jorgensen guests.
Bartender Responsibilities:
Pay is $18/hour
Work with a team to serve, bus, and manage alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage service needs during events
Follow procedures and Jorgensen standards for professional beverage service
Ensure cleanliness of equipment and workspaces and adherence to safety standards before, during, and after bar service
Unpack and prepare client products for bar set up and event service. After the event, re-pack all client products and assist in delivery and loading into client vehicle.
Take inventory of client products before and after service
Take inventory of Jorgensen products before and after service when servicing select bar packages
Create and serve a range of beverages including classic cocktails, mixers, beer, wine, and soft drinks
Whatever it takes to create a comfortable, welcoming, and supportive environment for all staff and guests
Server Responsibilities:
Pay is $19/hour
Preparing and setting dishes, silverware, and glassware for service
Setting up food displays and buffets
Serving, busing, and managing food service needs for Jorgensen Farms Catering Services
Working with other catering staff members and the culinary team to unload the catering van, clean all assigned food service equipment and areas, and reload the catering van after an event
Confidently working to meet guest needs and expectations and speak knowledgeably about Jorgensen Farms services when needed
Whatever it takes to create a comfortable, welcoming, and supportive environment for all staff and guests
Requirements
Qualifications:
Guest-centric and Team-focused mentality
Minimum of 3 years of bar service experience
Special Event Bartending experience is strongly preferred
Ability to lift equipment up to 20 pounds
Be able to analyze and solve problems while multitasking
Be able to work on their feet for the entirety of their shift
Have the ability to relate to a diverse set of team members, clients, and guests
Possess strong organization and time management skills
Availability to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays
ServSafe and/or TIPS Alcohol Certification
Have the willingness to do "whatever it takes" to get the job done
