Location: Fremont, California (Onsite as required) - 3 Days In-Office, 2 Days WFH

Position Type: W-2 Contract

Contract Duration: 4 Month Contact with Extension/Conversion Possibility

Overview

TalentFish is casting a line for a Software Developer! This is a W-2 contract opportunity supporting a fast-paced and innovative development environment.

This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys solving abstract problems, building scalable solutions, and owning projects from concept to completion. The Software Developer will contribute to both frontend and backend development while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain modern applications.

What You Bring

Experience thinking critically about complex or abstract problems and delivering effective technical solutions

Ability to break down projects into milestones and tasks and drive work through to completion

Strong communication and organizational skills

Experience working within software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes

Experience with code reviews, branch management, and resolving merge conflicts

Experience with ElectronJS

Strong understanding of modern web development frameworks and full-stack technologies

What You Will Do (Skills needed for this Position)

Frontend Technologies

HTML

CSS

Experience with CSS frameworks. i.e. Tailwind CSS

JavaScript, TypeScript

Experience with frontend libraries. i.e. React.js

Experience with UI frameworks. i.e. antd and shadcn

Experience with global state management tools. i.e. Redux and React Context API

Backend technologies

Experience with server-side technologies. i.e. Node.js and Python

Experience with building RESTful APIs and using server-side frameworks. i.e. Express.js

Experience with developing and managing SQL and NoSQL databases. i.e. SQLite, MySQL, MongoD

Compensation Information

The expected salary range for this position is $45 - $60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity. The salary range provided is in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.

This role requires authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
