Blending Operator: Orangeville, Illinois
Our client in the Orangeville, Illinois area is an industry expert production facility seeking motivated individuals to join their expanding team on 2nd shift. As a Blending Operator, you will primarily be weighing ingredients, dumping and blending batches, and kit and staging batches per customers specifications.
Responsibilities of the Blending Operator:
Equipment assembly and setup.
Label to packaging standards.
Ensure that all documentation is completed and verified daily.
Become forklift certified, if applicable, and use manual pallet jacks.
Flexibility to be cross trained, adaptable to move between work centers.
Work on a team to provide production and sanitation support.
Comply with all safety standards and regulations provided by the company and government.
Meet all company requirements for training, including but not limited to Hazcom, Chemical Safety, Lock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space, PPE, Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), Ergonomics, etc.
Perform other duties/projects as apparent or assigned.
Blending Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
Experience within food production preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Good math skills.
Computer data entry.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitiously.
Ability to read, understand and complete SOP’s and company documentation
Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.
Ability to function and perform in wet and dusty environment with varying temperatures.
Ability to work in elevated platforms (varying heights).
Ability to work with allergens present (ie. soy, wheat, and milk).
Pay for Blending Operator: Starting at $20/hour.
