Job Title: Test Technician
Job Summary
The Test Technician plays a hands-on role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and quality of agricultural equipment and related products. Working in both lab and field environments, this role collects, analyzes, and reports test data while supporting product development and continuous improvement initiatives. By providing accurate testing insights and collaborating with engineering teams, the Test Technician directly contributes to delivering world-class, reliable products.

Up to $45/hr. based on experience
Responsibilities
Operate test equipment and collect data in lab and field settings.
Evaluate test plans and coordinate efforts to meet project goals.
Use software and testing processes to ensure technical requirements are met.
Analyze test results and create detailed reports to communicate findings.
Collaborate with design engineers, build technicians, suppliers, and program teams to deliver high-quality products.
Contribute to process improvements, testing concepts, and facility enhancements.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to operate a variety of equipment and machinery safely.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in collecting and analyzing data.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical information.
Proactive problem-solving and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with 3D CAD software (e.g., CREO) and data acquisition tools (eDaq, LMS Test Lab, LMS SCADAS, nCode Glyphworks) is a plus.
Experience with accelerometers, strain gauges, and pressure transducers is beneficial.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering preferred.
Alternatively, 4+ years of experience as a Test Technician will be considered.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) testing preferred.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in lab and field environments, including exposure to noise and movement.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
