Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive psychiatric nursing assessments and interventions

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient-centered care plans

Administer medication and monitor patient responses critically

Provide crisis intervention and support within acute care settings

Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to facility standards

Qualifications:

Current RN licensure with a psychiatric specialty

ACLS certification required within 60 days, PALS certification within 90 days of start

Ability to start within 7-10 days of offer, demonstrating flexibility and readiness

Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited for psychiatric care

Additional Details:

Fit testing for respiratory protection is provided on-site

Candidates must be based 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel candidates
