OT Cybersecurity Business Development Manager (m/f/d)
As Business Development Manager for HMS OT Cybersecurity, you will drive the commercial expansion of our OT Cybersecurity offering, initially in Europe and over time globally. This is a strategic and hands-on role where you will combine business development, consultative sales and market positioning.
You will shape and execute our go-to-market strategy, build strong relationships with system integrators, partners and selected key accounts, and position HMS as a trusted advisor within industrial cybersecurity. You will work directly with customer accounts and support the existing HMS sales organisation in conversations about OT Cybersecurity as an expert in this field.
Your main focus areas will include:
Driving business development and sales growth within OT Cybersecurity
Developing and executing the go-to-market strategy
Building and managing relationships with system integrators, partners and key accounts
Advising customers on cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements, industrial network strategies and architectures that help secure their uptime and processes
Representing HMS at industry events and in external forums
The role requires a high degree of independence, ownership and structure. You will work closely with internal stakeholders while being expected to set your own agenda and proactively drive results. Frequent travel (up to approximately 40%) is expected.
We are open to candidates based in other European countries where HMS has a legal entity. We value the right competence and mindset over physical location.
You are a commercially driven professional with a strong technical foundation and the confidence to engage in in-depth discussions around cybersecurity and industrial networks. You understand how to navigate complex customer environments and translate technical challenges into business value. To succeed in this role, you bring:
A proven track record of successfully selling cybersecurity or network infrastructure solutions, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant commercial experience
Experience operating in critical infrastructure, telecom, manufacturing, or other uptime sensitive environments where resilience is business critical
Demonstrated ability to lead complex B2B sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, technical evaluations, and extended decision processes
Strong capability to translate cybersecurity risks and regulatory requirements into clear business value for executive decision makers
Knowledge of, or certification in, cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443 and NIST
Beyond your technical and commercial background, you are self-driven and comfortable working independently in a role with significant autonomy. You take ownership, prioritize effectively and have a strong "get-things-done" mindset.
