Overview

This position is responsible for delivering and assisting in unloading bulk and packaged goods at company warehouse locations. Drivers will be home daily.

Responsibilities

· Operate delivery vehicle safely

· Obey all guidelines as required by DOT and Rowleys

· Deliver freight, dried goods, and bulk to warehouses

· Partner with Logistics on suggested route changes, improvements, etc.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift up to 75 pounds routinely throughout assigned work schedule as well as roll a 55-gallon drums and carry freight on uneven surfaces. The employee must be capable of pulling and pushing large skids with the assistance of an electric pallet jack. The employee must be able to climb steps in and out of a truck cab. The employee will work in both warm and cold conditions. Additionally, the employee must maintain a medical card, by passing a DOT physical prior to hire and periodically as mandated by DOT.

Required Experience

· CDL A or B with airbrakes,

· 1 year driving experience

· 21+ years old

· High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Experience

· Hazmat endorsement (company will assist in obtaining)

· Tanker endorsement (company will assist in obtaining)

· Electric pallet jacks

· Liftgates

Hours

Full time, Sunday through Thursday from approximately 6PM to 2AM with the potential for overtime.

Dress Code

Company provided uniform and steel-toed/composite boots with annual boot and glove stipend.
