Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter/Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various carpentry techniques, including trim and frame carpentry, drywall, cabinets and painting and will be responsible for completing high-quality finish work on residential and commercial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
Responsibilities
Execute finish carpentry tasks, including installation of trim, cabinetry, doors, and fixtures.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of designs.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks.
Perform construction estimating to determine material needs and project timelines.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion aligns with timelines and quality standards.
Conduct restoration work including water damage restoration, mold remediation, and structural repairs.
Assist in concrete forming, masonry work, and other related construction tasks as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
Proven experience in carpentry with a strong portfolio showcasing trim carpentry, frame carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation.
Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for various tasks.
Experience with woodworking techniques including caulking, stucco application, siding installation, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, electrical work, metal stud framing, CNC operations, assembly, plastering, fabrication, rebar installation.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
