Construction Laborer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites (Excavation Sites).

May operate hand and power tools of all types including cut off saws, mortar mixers, etc.

Clean and prepare sites

Dig trenches and grade stone

Set braces to support the sides of excavations

Shoot grade and install pipe to line and grade, cut in fittings for pipe

Set manholes and catch basins

Clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials

Qualifications:

Must be able to lift 75 + pounds

Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather and work in confined spaces such as manholes

Takes pride in getting job done safely and accurately

Must be self-motivated and work with supervisors and peers an various sewer and water line projects

CDL type A is preferred

Must have a Valid driver's license and dependable transportation

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability is a plus

Must successfully pass a drug test, as well as driver's license check, approval by our insurance carrier
