Position Highlights

The University of Arizona, College of Medicine-Tucson (COM-T) Department of Psychiatry is seeking a part time Program Coordinator, Senior for the Department of Psychiatry's Education division. The successful candidate will demonstrate the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, punctuality, and dependability in their daily activities with the Psychology Internship Directors, Psychiatry Education Manager, and supported faculty and students. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism is essential to carry out the job tasks of providing support to the division's programs.

This position will be located at the Behavioral Health Pavilion, South Campus.

Duties & Responsibilities

Psychology Internship

Coordinates all activities of all interns completing doctoral clinical psychology program.

Liaise with College of Nursing to support the Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) Grant Coordinate recruitment, credentialing, placement, supervision, and evaluations of students with Program Directors.

Assist program directors with pulling data and submitting annual reports. Psychology Externship

Coordinates credentialing of Psychology students in externship.

Coordinate credentialing process with Banner Health.

Coordinate placement, supervision and evaluations of students with faculty preceptors. This job posting reflects the general nature and level of work expected of the selected candidate(s). Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
