Responsibilities
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is a critical technical role responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the organization's entire cloud ecosystem. This role works closely with development, security, and operations teams to automate security practices within CI/CD pipelines and manage infrastructure and applications with security, scalability, and resilience in mind. The position directly influences business continuity, product delivery timelines, operational costs, and compliance posture. This role requires a unique blend of deep technical expertise and cross-team collaboration.
Architect and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure aligned with business and customer requirements.
Implement and manage Identity and Access Management controls, including Role-Based Access Control and Single-Sign-On solutions.
Evaluate and adopt emerging cloud technologies to strengthen technical capabilities and maintain a competitive advantage.
Ensure high availability of critical services by monitoring systems, resolving incidents quickly, and preventing outages.
Implement and maintain strong cloud security controls, manage vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with standards such as GDPR and HIPAA.
Automate deployment, provisioning, and scaling processes to improve delivery speed and reduce manual effort.
Continuously optimize cloud environments through architectural improvements and resource monitoring.
Advise product, engineering, and leadership teams on infrastructure strategy, design decisions, and best practices.
Deliver Azure-based solutions, including compute, identity, disaster recovery, device management, and virtual desktop services.
Lead technical discussions, produce clear documentation, and support knowledge transfer to customers and peers.
Communicate project progress, risks, and escalations effectively to stakeholders.
Establish engineering standards, identify opportunities for enhancements or cost savings, and stay current with evolving cloud technologies.
Manage Azure Key Vault, secrets, certificates, backups, and recovery operations.
Configure and manage security monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., SIEM). Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to address and resolve security incidents.
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Multi-cloud fluency (AWS, Azure) combined with advanced Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipeline experience (Terraform).
CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
Cloud Platforms: Strong experience with at least one primary cloud provider (AWS, Azure) and its security services.
IaC: Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Containerization: Expertise with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
Security Testing: Familiarity with security testing tools such as OWASP ZAP, Snyk, or Burp Suite.
Scripting: Strong scripting skills for automation in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Configuration Management: Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible and Puppet.
Linux: Experience with Linux system administration.
Professional Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related technical field is typically required.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role.
Certifications: Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., Certified Developer Professional, CompTIA Security+).
Soft Skills:
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and address security risks.
Proactive mindset committed to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging security threats and technologies.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working. Many factors, such as years of experience, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
