Job Description

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturer, is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machinist

Location: Marysville, OH

Pay Range: $27-30hr

Shift: Monday - Friday, 1st shift

What's the Job?

Plan machining operations by studying work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans to ensure precise production.

Manage stock inventory by checking stock levels, placing orders, and verifying receipt of materials.

Program and operate CNC and manual mills and lathes, including setting tools, offsets, and calculating requirements.

Set up machines by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, and attachments, ensuring accurate positioning.

Verify settings through measurements, first-run parts, and sample workpieces to maintain quality standards.

What's Needed?

Proficiency with CAD software, including CATIA, and familiarity with CAM software and G-code is preferred.

Experience with manual and CNC machine operation, including mills and lathes.

Strong understanding of GD&T and measurement equipment.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects effectively.
