Machine Operator Details:

Temp-to-Hire position

$ 17.39 / hour

Full Time work available

Weekend work required

First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)

Operates a variety of machine shop equipment such as saws, lathes, drill presses, sand blaster, and a free-standing spot welder to produce sub-assemblies or completed finished goods.

Machine Operator Qualifications:

Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers and use simple math to perform basic calculations.

Must be able to read tape measures, calipers and micrometers to perform inspection of parts.

Must be able to operate a variety of machines to perform the following tasks turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing, spot welding and sandblasting.

Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.

Update computer records and paperwork in accordance with production requirements. Must have a working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing.

Their primary function is to cut metal rods into 24.419" and then to operate a lathe to chamfer the ends
