Process Technician (On-site)

Our client is seeking a Process Technician to support production operations in a manufacturing environment focused on advanced electronic systems. This position will provide hands-on support within the Select Solder production cell and play an important role in maintaining process performance, product quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on soldering experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and collaborating with engineering and production teams.

Provide production support within the Select Solder cell

Build products from written instructions by operating a select soldering machine

Inspect products and perform rework as required

Operate select solder equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed

Provide feedback on process performance and collaborate with engineers to improve manufacturing processes

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment

Follow quality standards and manufacturing procedures to ensure product integrity

Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency

Required Skills

2+ years of direct experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience operating select solder or wave solder equipment

Experience with manual soldering and product inspection

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing production needs

Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Hands-on experience with select solder and wave solder processes

Experience with manual soldering

Experience performing product inspection

High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Skills

J-STD or IPC certification

Rework certification

Associate degree
